Who We Are
Go-Crypto.app is a small, independent editorial project run by crypto industry veterans who have been researching exchanges, wallets and blockchain products since 2017. Between us we've done security reviews of trading platforms, written incident post-mortems, and answered a few thousand "is this a scam?" emails from readers. This site channels that experience into one narrow topic: the Gocrypto: Crypto Trading app — what it is, what it isn't, and how to use it without hurting yourself.
One thing above all: we are not affiliated with the app's developer. GoCrypto is published by MOBILE EDTECH SOLUTIONS LIMITED of Limassol, Cyprus; this website is not made, sponsored, endorsed or reviewed by them. We are also unrelated to the separate GoCrypto payments company (Eligma Labs, Slovenia). We're the outside auditors, not the marketing department.
Why This Site Exists
GoCrypto passed 25 million downloads, and with that scale came a fog of confusion: people asking how to withdraw money from a simulator that holds none, Telegram "managers" charging fees to release imaginary balances, and fake sites wearing the app's logo. Most coverage online either uncritically hypes the app or lazily calls it a scam. Both are wrong. Someone needed to write the boring, accurate middle — so we did, starting with what GoCrypto actually is.
Our Methodology
Every guide on this site follows the same process:
- We install and use the app ourselves — fresh accounts, clean test devices, real hours spent in the trading screens, academy lessons and reward loops.
- We verify against primary sources. Numbers like downloads, ratings and age labels are taken from the official Google Play and App Store listings and from gocrypto.academy, with the date we checked them.
- We read the fine print — privacy labels, disclaimers, data-safety sections — because that's where the real answers live.
- We name what we can't verify. If something is an estimate or an opinion, we label it as one.
- We update. Each page shows its last-reviewed date, and we revisit facts when the app ships significant changes.
Our Editorial Line
Three rules govern everything we publish. First: GoCrypto is a simulator — all in-app money is virtual, and we will never imply otherwise, no matter what a headline could earn in clicks. Second: no profit promises, ever, about anything. Crypto is a high-risk asset class and simulators don't change that. Third: safety beats engagement — if a page can prevent one person from paying a "withdrawal fee" to a scammer, it has done its job.
Independence & Affiliate Disclosure
This site is free to read and earns money through clearly marked affiliate placements — for example, banners for real, licensed crypto exchanges. If you sign up through those links, we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. Two firewalls keep this honest: affiliate partners get no say in our editorial content, and we never accept payment from the subjects we review — including GoCrypto's developer, who has never paid us, contacted us, or reviewed a word of this site. If a recommendation ever conflicts with a reader's safety, safety wins.
Nothing here is financial advice. We're auditors and writers, not your broker. Questions, corrections, or something we got wrong? Tell us — details on the contact page. We answer, and we correct.
